Tuscan Reconstruction was a building envelope restoration project that finally gave the homeowners a highly durable home that they could enjoy for decades. Soon after moving into this beautiful property, the new owners discovered a few “annoyances” and hired professionals to decipher the mystery. After months of investigation, PMC and a team of engineers and designers discovered many aspects of the house construction were built incorrectly and significantly flawed. The results were restoration and reconstruction efforts that involved removing all stucco, stone, windows, doors, trim and sheathing, fixing water damaged structural elements, and then reapplying both interior and exterior finishes that visually matched the original finishes. PMC also constructed a new covered front porch to complement the home and to provide weather protection.
