Seale Residence

 

Seale Residence is among the first in Palo Alto aspire to the PassivHaus standard of performance, which addresses human comfort and energy efficiency through super-insulated and airtight building enclosures. The house was designed around the Golden Ratio, with a curved window-wall facing the backyard and architectural forms derived from farmhouse style. Windows and skylights bring in lots of natural daylight to make the space bright and open. The home is two stories over a full basement with an detached workshop.
