Los Trancos Residence

Los Trancos Residence is located in between the Los Trancos Open Space Reserve and the Monte Bello Open Space Reserve. It sits atop a nice promontory with beautiful views stretching from San Francisco to San Jose. Working in conjunction with building design professionals, PMC embarked a series of remediation as well as remodeling work for water damage and repairs. The scope expanded from affecting 14 rooms to 22 rooms. One of the main features added to the home was a 30′ high glass curtain system with a 10′ stone double-sided (indoor and outdoor) fireplace set into the center of the window wall. The residence also got a new vanishing-edge swimming pool, deck, and spa. The pool was designed to maintain a water temperature of 80 degrees out of 9 months of a year with 40 plus photovoltaic panels. New hardscape and landscape were installed along with an indoor/outdoor shower. An electric car charging station was also installed in the garage.
