Greenwood Residence

Greenwood Residence
After demolishing the existing 1960’s home, we constructed a single story mid-century inspired house with a basement and a detached garage. The home was designed with full accessibility in mind: level transitions throughout the interior and out to the exterior, lowered counter and fixture height, and a basement elevator. In addition to sun shades and light shelves, the house incorporates solar thermal panels and photovoltaic panels for passive solar management. Solar thermal panels were utilized to preheat water for indoor radiant heating. Interior space features glass railing, metal folding doors and contemporary trim style.

Project Highlights:
Electrical elevator
Hydronic radiant floor heating
